Mike Edgar (adgar) is a Computer Science graduate from Dartmouth College, Class of 2010. He begins work as a Software Engineer at Google, Inc. on September 12th, 2011. He is a primarily self-taught developer, and got his start hacking video games at the age of 14. Mike is a polyglot whose current languages of choice are Ruby and C. He specializes in data structures, designing large systems and complex I/O. He has a background in web development using Ruby on Rails, PHP, and a little embedded Kite, for which he has written an Apache module. He is a film buff and a rabid LOST fan.

Ari Brown (seydar) hails from Hanover, New Hampshire. He is primarily a self-taught developer, and began his Computer Science education as a high schooler, taking courses at Dartmouth College. He currently attends University of Michigan at Ann Arbor. He specializes in Ruby and has experience profiling major Java systems. He is interested in version control systems, languages and parser theory and he has a nasty habit of engaging in relentless optimization. He is currently working on Rubinius, among other side projects. Ari also runs cross country and is fascinated by languages: Finnish and Esperanto, in particular.

Christine Malonzo (lodestar) is a Psychology and French Literature double major at Dartmouth College, Class of 2011. She designed the amp website and the lovely main carbonica site you viewing right now, as well. She has an interest in just about everything, especially: arts of all kinds, non-traditional media, creative writing, social analysis, cuisine and foreign languages. She also makes a mean crêpe.

Brian Nachbar (snackbar) is a Physics major at Dartmouth College, Class of 2012. He co-wrote the object_regex library, and despite any official recognition, studies Computer Science at Dartmouth as well. He delights in The Wire, hip-hop music, and sports a beard reminiscent of Abraham Lincoln's (with a modern, stylish touch).
